World's Strongest Woman is an annual strongwoman contest. The event is often regarded as the most prestigious event in the sport, analogous to World's Strongest Man; however, with the growing popularity of alternative events such as the Rogue Invitational and Arnold Strongwoman Classic, many major competitors have opted to focus on other competitions. From 2001 to 2003, it was held during the same time and same location as World's Strongest Man.
