Charles Geoffrey Cox is a British politician and barrister. He has been the Conservative Party Member of Parliament (MP) for the constituency of Torridge and West Devon since 2005. He worked as a barrister from 1982 onwards and was appointed a Queen's Counsel in 2003. On 9 July 2018, he was appointed Attorney General and gave up private practice; prior to this he had been the highest earning MP in the UK.
