Oakmont Country Club is a country club which, despite its name, is actually located mostly within the borough of Plum, Pennsylvania, with only a small portion of the property actually in the small town of Oakmont. Established 122 years ago in 1903, the club lies in the East Hills suburbs of Pittsburgh. Its golf course is regarded as the "oldest top-ranked golf course in the United States" and was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1987. The Pennsylvania Turnpike separates seven holes from the rest of the course.
