James Francis Cameron is a Canadian filmmaker who resides in New Zealand. A major figure in the post-New Hollywood era, his films have grossed over $8 billion worldwide, making him the second-highest-grossing film director of all time. A recipient of numerous accolades such as three Academy Awards, two Primetime Emmy Awards and four Golden Globe Awards as well as nominations for six British Academy Film Awards, he often uses novel technologies with a classical filmmaking style.
