Zarah Sultana is a British politician who has served as Member of Parliament (MP) for Coventry South since 2019. She was a Labour Party MP until the whip was suspended in July 2024, when she became one of seven Labour MPs who voted to scrap the two-child benefit cap. She resigned her Labour Party membership on 3 July 2025 and co-founded a new party, known by the provisional name Your Party, with the former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn and joined the Independent Alliance. On the political left, she was a member of the Socialist Campaign Group and its chairperson from 2020 to 2025.
