Yemen’s Houthis have launched a bold new assault on Israel, claiming strikes on Tel Aviv’s IDF headquarters, Ben Gurion Airport, Hadera Power Plant, and Ashdod Port using upgraded Yafa drones and missiles.
Officials report that Israel’s Iron Dome and Arrow defense systems failed to intercept the attacks, leaving the country caught off guard.
Houthi spokesman Yahya Saree warned that more deadly strikes will follow unless Israel halts operations in Gaza and Lebanon.
In a related escalation, Houthi forces also targeted the Liberian-flagged cargo ship MSC Aby in the Red Sea using drones and a Soumar-type cruise missile, reportedly causing significant damage.
