Ukraine-Russia talks in Istanbul kick off at a lower level and with lowered expectations Ukrainian and Russian officials met in Istanbul on Friday for the first time since March 2022.
Although the negotiations are now scheduled at a lower level, they are still taking place, with Turkish and US representatives participating.
