Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov dismissed Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky’s claim that Russia is planning to mobilise 300,000 additional soldiers by the summer.

Speaking to TASS news agency, Peskov termed Zelensky's claim “not true." Meanwhile, Zelensky has expanded his conscription efforts.

He signed a law on April 2, lowering the military conscription age from 27 to 25 to replenish its depleted ranks after more than two years of war following Russia’s invasion.
