Fans line Dublin streets to bid farewell to Irish songwriter Shane MacGowan

Fans line the streets to pay their respects as the funeral procession of Shane McGowan, frontman of folk-punk band The Pogues, proceeds through the centre of Dublin before his remains are brought to County Tipperary for his funeral.

MacGowan, whose most famous songs include the Christmas classic "Fairytale of New York" and ode to drinking "Sally MacLennane", died on November 30, prompting a flood of tributes.
