On November 28, flight day 13 of the @NASAArtemis mission, our Orion spacecraft captured the Earth rising β or transiting behind the Moon as it reached its farthest distance from home β 268,563 miles (432,210 km) β the farthest any spacecraft designed to carry humans has traveled.
The #Artemis I flight test happened almost exactly 50 years after the iconic Apollo 17 βBlue Marbleβ photo of Earth was taken.
