The long-awaited Trump indictment has finally come, the first criminal charges ever brought against anyone to have ever served as president of the United States.
However, despite having tweeted that he believed he would be indicted several weeks ago, New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman says the indictment caught Trump and his team by surprise.
