Police make arrest in Tuesday standoff

It happened in an apartment complex at 607 Trueman Drive.

The vincennes police department has arrested a man on an "attempted murder" charge.

Police tell news 10...they arrived at 607 trueman drive on a reported stabbing.

That's an apartment complex.

They found a female victim with two stab wounds to her chest.

Police say the woman was taken to the hospital for medical treatment.

Police say "dakota haaff " barricaded himself in the apartment with several young children.

Vincennes officers entered the home and arrested haaff without incident.

He was taken to the hospital for treatment.

He will eventually be taken to the knox county
