String of arsons

Chattanooga firefighters are investigating a rash of arsons this month, but don't believe they are connected.

Believe a string of fires this month were intentionally set.

Firefighters have dealt with 10 separate fires, mostly in vacant homes.

The person behind the two business fires in hixson was arrested.

But investigators don't believe all the others are connected.

Some of the buildings that burned were occupied.

More recently, one fire damaged a vacant home on laws avenue last night.

Then at 7 this morning, a trailer on old lee highway was set ablaze.

A few hours later at 2 this afternoon, firefighters put out yet another vacant house fire on 46th street place.
