A non-profit organization that travels the country honoring the lives of fallen officers made a stop in Columbus this morning.

1894.éé a national non- profit organization is traveling the country honoring the lives of law enforcement officers who lost their lives in the line of duty.éé the "end of watch ride to remember" made a stop in columbus this morning.éé while honoring fallen officers, the event gives friends, family, and co-workers a chance to remember them by riding in their name.éé this morning, the group honored lowndes county constable, willie "hoot" west who died in may of 2019 in a car accident.éé last year, 146 officers in the united states died in the line of duty.éé it's a healing process, you know.

Every single individual that's on this trailer- every single picture that's on this trailer is not just a picture or a name.

It's actually a human being.

It's a brother, sister, mother, son, grandfather, grandmother.

And it's really important for me to be able to show that there's just a huge amount of love that's here that we can give back as well to the family and to the departments and show that there is love out here.

Over the next month, "ride to remember" will travel to 30 states and visit 99 different departments.

The group also raises money to help support families of fallen law enforcement
