Numerous shootings this Father's Day weekend around the United States.
At least nine people were shot at an event in Syracuse Saturday night.
Good news...they are all alive.
The shooting happened just before nine last night in a parking lot.
Police say officers were dispatched to the area for another incident...and when they arrived they found hundreds of people in the area.
Authorities say those folks were there for a celebration organized by someone in the community.
Officers at the scene say they did not hear gunfire but found multiple people injured.

While on scene they encountered several hundred individuals who began running towards officers saying individuals were shooting from the crowd."

They've all since been to centrally located to upstate hospital.
We have a total of nine victims at this time.
One of which is in critical condition.
The other eight are listed in stable and non life threatening."
As of now police do not have anyone in custody...but believe there is no threat to the public.
The shooting is under investigation.
