Long live the Morris Dancers and Brighton 'classics'

A few years ago I posted a tongue-in-cheek item on a social media platform in which I poked fun at Morris dancers. I wrote: “There are dozens of Morris Dancers at the Pavilion Gardens Cafe about to disturb the peace. Apparently the collective noun for Morris Dancers is both a Company of Dancers or a Troupe of Dancers. My companion suggested it should be a Jingle of Dancers. Someone less charitable might say it should be an Annoyance of Dancers.”
