Pensioners 'boiled alive' after turning heating up to 1,000 degrees to keep warm

The bodies of Joan Littlejohn, 84, and Glennwood Fowler, 82, were found in the basement of their Spartanburg, South Carolina home as temperatures outside dropped to as low as 19 degrees
