Essex D-Day hero Don Turrell celebrates 100th birthday after fearing he wouldn't see the end of the war

Braveheart Don Turrell was a Corporal with The Cameronians (Scottish Rifles) when he sailed across the Channel as part of the liberating Allied armada in June 1944.
