Stirling councillor Alasdair Macpherson has called for public buildings across the city to be used as 'warm banks' as residents struggle to pay energy bills this winter. He has launched the 'Don't Pay Stirling' campaign urging folk to stop paying direct debits in a bid to put pressure on energy firms.
