Man Convicted for the Murder of Kulsuma Akter, Bradford

A man from Oldham has today (27 June) been convicted of murdering his estranged wife in a brutal attack in Bradford City Centre last April.

Kulsuma Akter, aged 27, died after being stabbed multiple times on Westgate, Bradford as she pushed her baby in his pram, on Saturday 6 April last year.  

It was just after 3.20pm when officers were called to reports a woman had been stabbed in the street.  

Many members of the public tried to help Kulsuma but her injuries were so severe she died in hospital.
