Fatal Collision, Glasshoughton, Castleford

*Tuesday 28 May, 2024*

Police were called to Front Street, Glasshoughton, Castleford at 4pm today to a report of a very serious collision involving a motorbike and several cars.  

Emergency services attended the scene where it was confirmed the male motorcycle rider had sadly died as result of the collision.  

A road closure is in place at the locate and the incident is ongoing.    

Drivers are thanked for their patience and advised to avoid the area while necessary recovery and investigation work is carried out.
