BBC Radio 1Xtra Unveils Hot For 2021 List

10 artists to watch...

*BBC 1Xtra* has named its Hot For 2021 list.

The list contains 10 artists who will be supported by the station throughout the coming year, and as ever it's a varied pick.

UK rap iconoclast Pa Salieu is front and centre, joined by Bellah, Ivorian Doll, Stalk Ashley, and more.

1Xtra host DJ Target was elated at the announcement: “The 1Xtra ‘Hot For’ list has earned a reputation for being really on the pulse with who’s about to do huge things in the year to come. With the likes of Stormzy, Roddy Ricch, J Hus, Mahalia, Koffee, Young T & Bugsey, Aitch and so many more over the years being on the list, I’m super excited to see our Hot For 2021 list excel and make major waves in the next 12 months.”

Fellow 1Xtra broadcaster Nadia Jae adds: “It's been such a hard year for artists so I'm really excited to continue celebrating them into 2021. They've kept our spirits up with their music and content so I think the list this year will be a special one. We rarely get it wrong at 1X so here's a round of applause for The Hot for 2021 list!!”
