Volkswagen Multivan and California Get eHybrid 4MOTION Powertrain in the UK

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has improved the Multivan and California for the UK market with a new plug-in hybrid option. The new eHybrid 4MOTION setup promises a lot of electric range and maximum traction by means of an electric rear axle that can assist the front-mounted electric drive unit at speeds no higher than 130 kilometers an hour (81 miles an hour).
