Paetongtarn Shinawatra is a Thai politician who was appointed leader of the Pheu Thai Party in 2023 and was the 31st prime minister of Thailand until her suspension on July 1st 2025. A member of the Shinawatra family, she is the youngest child of the 23rd prime minister, Thaksin Shinawatra, and a niece of the 28th prime minister, Yingluck Shinawatra. Paetongtarn, nicknamed Ung Ing, became the youngest prime minister of Thailand and is the second woman to hold the position, following her aunt. She has also served as Minister of Culture since 30 June 2025.
