After almost two weeks of political turmoil in Maharashtra which left the entire country guessing what would happen next, Devendra Fadnavis announced on Thursday that Eknath Shinde would be sworn in as the new Chief Minister of the state.
The dramatic announcement came after Fadnavis and Shinde met Governor BS Koshyari at Raj Bhavan earlier today.
