2 VEHICLE MAJOR ACCIDENT, GOODRICH TEXAS, 01/28/22...

Major Accident 2 Hospitalized, GOODRICH, January 28, 2022 - At approximately 10:40 am on January 28, 2022, a white 1995 Nissan Sentra, driven by Angela Jane Williams, 52, of Livingston, was south-bound on US-59.

Williams crossed over from the south-bound lanes of traffic to the north-bound lanes (between Loop 393 and Windham Ranch Road).

When Williams pulled onto the north-bound side of 59, she was slammed from behind by a red 2006 Dodge Dakota, driven by Wilburn Ray Wallace, 74, also of Livingston.

The impact pushed Williams' vehicle into the center median, her vehicle rolled and came to rest upright in the south-bound lanes of traffic.

Wallace's vehicle came to rest in the center median.

Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with the Livingston and Goodrich Volunteer Fire Departments.

Both Williams and Wallace were transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries.

Traffic on both sides of 59 was partially blocked during investigation and cleanup.

Williams was cited for causing the accident and was also cited for driving with an invalid license.

Both vehicles were recovered by Ken's Towing and were stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston.
