On Tuesday, September 14, Neptune, the eighth planet from the sun, will reach opposition, rising at sunset and staying in the sky all night.
Although stargazers will need a telescope to see Neptune, they can see Jupiter and Saturn, which reached opposition in August, with the naked eye.
