Prime Minister Narendra Modi on May 08 virtually participated in the meeting of European Council as a special invitee, on the invitation of Council's President Charles Michel.
Heads of states/governments of all 27 EU Member states are participating in the meeting.
European Union has also extended medical aid to India in view of deadly second wave of COVID-19.
