Slieve Donard was filmed coming in smoke after a raging gorse fire spread across the Mourne Mountains.

On Saturday morning, the flames had reached the forested areas and the lower slopes of Slieve Donard, the Glen River Valley and Thomas Mountain.

Slieve Donard is the highest mountain in Northern Ireland.
