A tortoise in South Africa was spotted squirting streams of water out of its nose on April 1.
Filmed in Hluhluwe–iMfolozi Park by Tim Brown, the leopard tortoise is seen squirting the water from its nose after drinking from a puddle.
Brown told Newsflare: "Shortly after this amazing safari experience we got to see a different kind of wildlife and spotted a leopard tortoise which was drinking water in the rain next to the road.
"It was very interesting as he would drink and then squirt water and mud back out its nose.
I can only guess this was to get some of the mud out of the water."
