Dramatic footage shows a fire at a 17th-century grade-II listed pub. The Three Tuns pub in Alcester, Warwickshire, is housed within Talbot Cottage, a listed building located on the high street in Alcester. Dramatic drone footage shows fire fighters tackling the blaze from aerial ladders. The footage also shows roof caved in leaving just the blackened beams on show.Warwickshire Police and Fire and Rescue Service are currently at the scene. There are no injuries reported. The pub had not yet reopened after lockdown with its owners said to be away at the time the fire broke out. A post on Warwickshire's police Twitter page read: "Officers are supporting firefights following a report of a blaze at a property in High Street, Alcester earlier this afternoon. "Road closures are in place, please avoid the area if you can." Eyewitness Jason Ewart, 45, said: "I was sitting in the garden and I could see the fire and smoke from the fire. "I think it started around two hours ago so around 3pm as I could hear some o the fire engines going past the house so that alerted me to what was happening. "And then after that, I started to be able to see the smoke from the building. "And now two hours later I can still see the smoke coming up in the sky from the pub. "The police service has cordoned off the middle of the town but there were a few people on the high street but, it was mainly just full of emergency services. "I think it's around 300 years old that building and apparently the pub owners were away at the moment and are now driving back down after someone alerted them to what was happening."
