....LEXINGTON STUDENTS ARE GOING ON STRIKE..

Also happening today....lexington students are going on strike..

Area students...along with community members... plan to strike from nine this morning until five p-m... to mimic the standard work day..

It's organized by the sunrise movement... led by youths to fight climate change and created millions of good jobs in the process..

They say the purpose of the strike is to advocate for a federal jobs guarantee and for good paying, union, dignified greed jobs..

They say kentucky students have been robbed of a bright future..

The strike will take place outside the fayette county circuit
