We now know that two people are seriously injured after crashing into this sink hole in marshall county early this morning!

Right now -- both the north and south bound lanes of alabama 227 from old 227 road to alabama 62 are blocked.

Waay 31's sierra phillips is live at one of the road blocks with what we know about the 2 people injured, we know the driver is a 24- year-old, sabrina davis, from fyffe and we know that davis and her passenger were taken to the hospital for treatment.

According to the marshall county sheriff's office, one of the people in the car was pregnant.

They say it was caused by heavy rain--- likely rushing down the mountain.
