A bill to help Coal Miners with Black Lung Disease is being introduced in Frankfort.
It's called a clean-up bill because it clarifies distribution of money for the funds that helps coal miners if they are diagnosed with black lung disease.
Kentucky Senator Robby Mills said, "These folks work hard and they earn their money.
We ought to support them."
A bill to help coal miners struggling with black lung disease has passed the senate.
The disease is common for coal miners after breathing in coal dust over time.
The bill is what is called a clean up bill...which helps clarify things.
In this case it clarifies distribution of money for the fund that helps coal workers if they are diagnosed with black lung disease.

The bill still has to be reviewed and passed in the house
