Universities without hang topayy chancellor jim malatras traveled to utica today...to make the announcement from proctor high school.
Typically, the cost to submit an application to a suny school is 50 dollars.
Now, there's the possibility of that fee being waived....based on household income.
For example, if a family of four brings in less then 48,470 a year....the fee to apply is waived.
"10 dollars in someones pocket could mean aeal to me 3dollars e board of trustees this is down payment on the future of our students.
So we are willing to for go that revenue to get our students into the door in the long term."
