Kentucky State Police are searching for the driver or company of a white Freightliner Cascadia semi-truck suspected of hitting and killing Michael "Andrew" Dowd of Dawson Springs, whose body was found off of I-69 several days after police said he was reported missing.

Michael "andrew" dowd was found dead -- on the side of i-69 back on february 7th -- days after he was reported missing.
Kentucky state police -- are now asking for the public's help in locating the driver of a semi and the company it belongs to.
Investigators tell us -- they suspect a white "freightliner cas-cadia" -*a 2018 model or later -- may have struck dowd.
They say -- the driver may have thought they had hit an animal.
