Parks & Rec developing Covid-19 protocol for pools
But staff at the city parks & rec department are thinking ahead to pool season.
During a board meeting today, staff released a draft of covid protocol for the aquatic center and krug pool.
Highlights include only allowing a certain number of people in attendance at a time.
For that -- people will need to schedule a two-hour session time in advance (sot ) cost of the sessions has not been set yet.
And though session times will be limited to two hours for now, one good bit of scheduling news.
Krug pool is planned to be open 5 days a week next summer, monday to friday -- instead of 3 days a week as it has been in the last couple years.
Also, at the aquatic center, due to structural problems, the lap pool will not be open this summer.
