An estimated 100 animals died when an overnight fire filled an Indianapolis pet store with thick smoke and deadly gases, killing dozens of animals in their cages, fire officials said.

A lot of police and fire departments coming herebut what casella witnessed on the outside didn't compare to what fire crews saw on the inside.

100 animals trapped in their cages dead from smoke inhalation.of those animals 40 were dogs and 25 were parakeets, rabbits and other animals.the survivors included multiple reptiles, fish, a guinea pig and an office cat .
