Sir Keir Starmer has defended his leadership of the Labour Party as polls suggest he is struggling to overturn support for the Conservatives during the pandemic.
Visiting a pub in Thurrock, Sir Keir insisted Labour's "priorities are in the right place" in identifying the needs of families and businesses across the country after a difficult week for his leadership.
