Mr Hancock told a No 10 news conference that more than four million peoplehave now been vaccinated and that the over-70s and the clinically vulnerablewere now receiving the jab.
He urged people to stick with the regulations asthe programme continued to roll out.
“Don’t blow it now.
We are on the routeout.
We are protecting the most vulnerable.
We are getting the virus undercontrol,” he said.
