Downtown Jackson labeled a food desert getting a 'much needed' market

It was a long process for Andrew Kokas but after six years of painstaking behind-the-scenes work he and his wife are set to break ground and open Downtown Jackson's first food market with hopes of helping the surrounding low-income households.
