That means the chamber could potentially vote on his removal from office by midweek.
House speaker nancy pelosi has not yet whether the house will vote on impeachment.
She did say today... she spoke with the chairman of the joint chiefs... who is the country's highest-ranking military officer... about taking precautions to prevent a quote: "unstable president trump" from launching a nuclear strike.
Also today... president trump was back on twitter.
His account was blocked after he urged followers to go to the capitol where congress was tallying the electoral college votes to confirm democrat joe biden's election.
He thanked the quote: "75,000,000 great american patriots" who voted for him.... and that they quote: "will not be disrespected or treated unfairly in any way, shape or form!!!"
He followed that up shortly with a tweet that he would not be attending the inauguration on january 20th of president-elect joe biden.... which is the first time he acknowledged the end of his presidency is nearing.
The tweets did not include any reference to the news overnight that u-s capitol police officer brian sicknick died after being injured during the wednesday riot.
His death is being investigated as a homicide meanwhile law enforcement is going over video and photos... trying to identify those involved in rampage at the u-s captiol and potentially bring cahrges against them.
