We begin at 10 with breaking news out of limestone county.

Right now -- multiple crews are on the scene of a house fire.

It's on bledsoe road in athens.

He's live at the scene.

Will -- what do we know so far?

Right now -- crews with east limestone fire and segers are inside hitting some hotspots in the home here.

East limestone assistant chief tony kirk says the 911 call here came in around 7 o'clock with a report of a couch being on fire.

When crews arrived -- he said fire was shooting out of the two sky lights in the home.

They were able to work pretty effieciently though.

The bulk of the fire was knocked down in about 15 minutes or so.

The living room and the kitchen had pretty extensive fire damage -- but the bedrooms were spared.

Three adults were inside the house when the fire started.

They were all able to get out safely.

The red cross is assisting them with a hotel in athens tonight.
