"* the holidays will lok a little different this year... beginning tonight at midnight new restrictions go into effect.
Social gatherings with more than 25 people indoors or 100 people outdoors will not be allowed unless people wear masks.
These restrictions pertain to social ?
"* leisure and sporting activities.
For indoor youth and high school events ?
"* two spectators will be allowed per athlete.
Also ?
"* employers are being encouraged to have more employees work from home if possible.
Governor reynolds says the state is reaching a critical level.
Over 11 hundred people are being treated for the virus statewide.
She is urging iowans to do "like so many states, we've reached a serious point of community spread, and we can no longer pinpoint any one age group or type of activity that's driving it."
The governor is not closing any bars or restaurants ?
"* but she said that people must be seated while eating or drinking ?
"* and social distance.

"* a group seated together is now limited to 8 people unless everyone dining together is from the same household.
