Jeff Bezos Cashes out, Over $3 Billion, in Amazon Shares.
According to recent filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The Amazon CEO offloaded more than $3 billion worth of shares this week.

Bezos previously sold more than $4.1 billion worth in February and more than $3.1 billion worth in August.

His total cash-out in 2020 is now more than $10.2 billion so far.

That’s a notable jump from 2019, during which he only sold $2.8 billion worth of Amazon shares.

Bezos still owns more than 53 million shares of Amazon, which are valued at nearly $170 billion.
Bezos has previously said that he sells Amazon stock to fund his rocket start-up, Blue Origin.

In addition, the funds are likely going toward the $10 billion Earth Fund he launched in February 2020.
The fund issues grants to scientists, activists and organizations that are working to fight climate change.
