Head coach mike leach said after the game that they'd take the bye week to evaluate the position to determine a starter moving forward... he has provided a new update on the job i think they're neck and neck and we will continue to split the reps this week for the first couple of practices.

I don't really like splitting reps with quarterbacks i'd like to settle with one.

I prefer that approach.

They made sure to tell me there's a policy that i can't tell you the players or the fans what they want to call an explanation for that situation was.

Everybody in the country could see that it hit him.

I asked the side judge if i need to review or challenge it and he said they looked at it and there's nothing there.

In tuscaloosa, second ranked alabama gets ready to welcome mississippi state to the friendly confines of bryant denny stadium.

Head coach nick saban and his team are well aware of the air raid system head coach mike leach and msu will be bringing to town saturday.

Today in his press conference, saban noted the "stark" differences between man and zone defenses effectiveness against the bulldogs o and why zone has faired better than the other.

"when you're that spread out on the field and they have five guys going out for a pass a time having you horizontally stretched as you are.

Play man to man, somebody gets beat then you have an issue.

When you play zone, you have a better chance of playing inside out and breaking on the ball."

We'll see if msu can make the neccessary adjustments on offense as they take on bama this saturday.
