Eight Indian beaches are awarded the 'Blue Flag' certification and Padubidri Beach in the Udupi district, is among one of them.
Tourists were seen doing recreational activities around the beach on Sunday.
The 'Blue Flag' certification is awarded by Denmark based NGO, Foundation for Environment Education (FEE).
