Lynden -- just a few minutes ago we talked about your experience at madison city stadium and the coronavirus precautions there.

But -- as we saw at brooks high school tonight -- social distancing is tough at these games.

Yes its hard when you want to be with your friends, with my own eyes, i've seen lots of masks, and now people will have to keep them on a little longer with governor ivey's mask ordinaance extension.

Here is the brooks high school band marching in as the lions host the sheffield bull dogs.

First quarter- lions hunter himber hands it off to trenton spray.

He takes it to the side and gains some yards before bulldogs defense stops him.

Next play- himber hands it off to chandler ross but sheffields savioun johnson flips him to the ground.

Brooks can't score on this dirve.

Sheffield ball- quarterback jaylen jones drops back for a long pass but it's picked off by camryn williams. he gains about 10 yards before he's stopped.

Later in the game- himber drops back and makes a pass but it's intercepted by sheffield's calvin madden.

It looks like he runs it down for a touchdown but a flag stops those touchdown dreams brooks goes on to win this one 28-6.

Valley head travelled to section tonight for their second game of the season.

Vo: play 1 at the end of the second quarter -- jordan burt going for it on fourth down -- but he's sacked by section's number 74.

Play 2 third quarter now -- handoff to dominck blair -- he'll bob and weave past some defenders before being brought down by valley head.

Play 3 later in the quarter -- jordan burt -- calls his own number and carries it into the endzone for a valley head touchdown!

They take the lead 14-13 in the third.

Section goes on to win 19-14 the geraldine bulldogs take the field to start the second half against the westminster wildcats.

The wildcat qb looks for a pass but tucks it and takes down the field weaving through the defense and picking up a first down.

The bulldogs respond to end the wildcat drive with a big interception near the red zone to put the ball back in their possession.

The bulldogs take a quick handoff that confuses the defense and the cameraman allowing him to waltz into endzone making the score 23-7 at the end of the 3rd.

Final score was geraldine 30, westminster christian 7; tonight the collinsville panthers host the crossville lions.

The panthers on their first drive make some ground but are quickly stopped by the lion defense.

Panthers keaton deboard receives the snap and runs toward the sidelines and all the way for a touchdown putting the panthers up 6-0 late in the first.

The start of the 2nd quarter panthers are in the red zone but cant get the ball tucked away and are brought down.

Deboard takes the ball and again takes it into the endzone putting panthers up 12-0.

Final score: crossville 6 and collinsville 24
