Every july 4th holiday!

You can now file police reports in vigo county..online!

This means you could be at home..

Work..or school.

Literally anywhere with internet access!

All you have to do is go to the vigo sheriffs office website.

Click on "file police report" and follow the instructions.

You can report incidents such as fraud..

Vandalism..

And domestic violence.

The sheriff tells us this will help reports get into the system... while officers are at other scences... "i think a thieft report maybe... criminal mischief..

I can go through the list of some of those on there.

But, just some of your minor offenses that they may have to wait awhile if we're on more important calls in the county.

They want to get it filed right away.

So this is an option to do that."
