Tensions threaten to boil over at Blue Lives Matter march in Brooklyn

A group of Blue Lives Matter protesters gathered in Bay Ridge in Brooklyn, New York on Saturday (July 11th) while across the street counter-protesters assembled for Black Lives Matter.

They were quickly separated by police and told to march in opposite directions.

One small group of about 15 Blue Lives Matter activists, some sporting apparel with known symbols representing the QAnon far-right conspiracy group, followed the Black Lives Matter group antagonizing them.

Amid the tension, there was a frank dialogue and a handshake between supporters from opposing sides.
